With a background in engineering and over five years designing in healthcare, I’ve seen firsthand how thoughtful design can ease uncertainty and empower patients. My work blends technical depth with empathy — from creating interactive 3D experiences to designing tools that support real people in navigating complex health journeys. I’m most fulfilled when I’m building solutions that serve patients directly, translating insight into impact through purposeful, human-centred design.
Partnering with patients, clinicians, and lab technicians, I led the redesign of how routine laboratory blood testing is communicated. Through co-design sessions and qualitative research, I uncovered gaps in patient understanding that often led to confusion and anxiety. The result was a clear, patient-centred infographic and companion website that reframed the bloodwork process, giving patients a stronger sense of agency in their own care.
I designed the GoGetFit app to encourage young people to stay active and build habits that prevent chronic conditions later in life. Using the CALO-RE taxonomy as a foundation, I translated behaviour change techniques into simple, engaging features that meet users where they are. This project reflects my passion for designing with purpose, blending evidence-based strategy with human-centred thinking to create real, lasting impact.
I created the IPF Care Kit to support patients recently diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. The kit was shaped by in-depth interviews with patients, uncovering personal stories, their tools, and day-to-day strategies for managing their condition. Collaborating closely with respirologists and physicians, I translated these insights into a practical, compassionate resource that bridges clinical care with real-life patient needs. This project exemplifies my commitment to designing for dignity, clarity, and empowerment in healthcare.
